to South Bihar Co-Operative Credit Society
The Credit Society is not oblivious to
the needs of society in which it functions. It therefore undertakes
several social welfare activities, at times offering direct financial
aid to the weaker sections of the society. Society has also offered
indirect financial aid to the needy by way of substantial donations
to charitable trusts, hospitals, and other recognized institutions
working for the betterment of the society.

Responding to the winds of change, the Society has undertaken computerization
on a large scale. This measure will go a long way in improving the
quality of service to its members. The appointment of Executive
Member's (District Members Representatives) was the first step in
this direction. All the necessary forms and information was made
available with the DMR's, thereby minimizing the hardship faced
by the Society's members in the remote areas.
The Society has drawn up a plan for decentralisation which envisages
processing of loan applications and sanction of loans at its centres.
Computerisation -aided connectivity will thus usher in tremendous
improvement in service and facilitate efficient house keeping.
